Having a child was nothing to make a fuss about.

Shen Cong soon put the whole business out of his head. Passing himself on to offspring would certainly help the research, but it was not important. His own evolution was what mattered most. Raising his strength mattered most too. Only absolute strength could hold his supreme place as a predator.

Tao Zhongyang and the other scientists were still at their academic discussions.

After proposing to Chen Xiuni that they cooperate on a child, Shen Cong wandered around outside for a while and, along the way, finished working out the structural changes in radiative eye material.

A radiative eye has the property of amplifying radiative fluctuation.

Shen Cong spent many days decoding the radiative eye in fine detail and finally solved the riddle of what it was made of. After that, guiding with particle-grade Activity waves, he could turn fire-spirit medium into radiative eye.

Then, following his own plan, he fitted several pieces of radiative eye onto the Vajra Fortress to widen the effect of its Activity waves.

He also made himself a pair of sunglasses out of radiative eye material.

The radiative sunglasses were much like the big aviator shades Shen Cong had kept for himself, and about the same thickness. They were not very sturdy, but the effect was decent enough. With steady practice he could already use the radiative sunglasses to extend the range of his own Third Eye Activity wave by better than ten percent.

With more diligent practice, fifty percent would be no problem.

And the radiative sunglasses could also raise and widen outside radiative fluctuation signals a little, which made them easier for Shen Cong to sense.

The one nuisance was that the radiative coating is a pale red crystal, which meant it blocked Shen Cong's naked eyesight... Then again, Shen Cong saw with the Third Eye most of the time, and the Third Eye already had a color-vision field, so it was hardly different from looking at the world with his own eyes.

Besides the radiative sunglasses.

His two jin-core short blades also got…
