Zhao Ming woke up feeling completely refreshed, sharp and clearheaded.
The first thing he did after getting out of bed was message Zhang Ruowei, asking a question he already knew the answer to. "Were you the one who brought me home last night?"
Zhang Ruowei saw it and answered just as deliberately. "Nope."
Zhao Ming laughed right there.
It obviously was, and she's actually saying it wasn't.
He filled in the smug little smile she must have had on her face when she sent that, and started grinning like an idiot himself.

Zhao Ming: "That's impossible."
Zhang Ruowei: "Really. Nothing."
Zhao Ming: "No way. When I'm drunk I say what I actually think."
Zhang Ruowei: "Maybe I forgot, then."
Zhao Ming was about ready to lose his mind.
You clearly agreed to be my girlfriend last night. How can you turn around and deny the whole thing?
Zhao Ming: "How could you forget?"
Zhao Ming: "Did I or did I not tell you how I felt?"
Zhang Ruowei: "I think maybe? You asked me to be your girlfriend."
Zhao Ming asked right away, "And did you say yes?"
Zhang Ruowei was enjoying herself. "I did say yes. But how can you take something seriously if the person was drunk when they said it?"
Zhao Ming typed frantically. "Why…
