Once the crowd broke up, Zhang Ruowei shoved Zhao Ming off her.
As far as she was concerned, the progress bar on her and Zhao Ming's relationship had only just hit twenty-five percent. Kissing was a fifty-percent thing at the earliest — and besides, they hadn't even held hands yet. How was he fast-forwarding to the kissing part?
Zhao Ming didn't mind being shoved off. He'd gotten exactly what he wanted and he just went on grinning like an idiot.
Xu Ye and Chen Qingqing got out of the car and came over then. It wasn't long before Jiang Yu and Shen Xinyi came running down. Seeing that everyone was there, Zhao Ming suggested, "How about we all go out for lunch today?"
"Another big meal? I haven't even digested last night yet."
Xu Ye figured Zhao Ming wasn't short of money and a free meal was a free meal — but just as he was about to say so, the phone in his pocket started ringing.
It was Zhang Xinzhou.
Calling on a weekend meant something was up at the company.
Xu Ye stepped off to one side and took it.
Zhang Xinzhou got straight to it. "Xu Ye, when are you heading back to school?"
"This afternoon. Why?"
"I've got good news. Somebody contacted us this morning about the Student Entrepreneurship Support Program."
Xu Ye sounded unimpressed. "We hired people to promote it and somebody came in with a question. Isn't that exactly what's supposed to happen?"
Zhang Xinzhou:…
