How long does it take to hunt a super-grade jin beast?
Before his bone-gold was complete, without the Four-Legged Dragon's help, Shen Cong would have needed days of preparation before he dared attempt a hunt.
Now, Shen Cong let everyone understand: hunting one took fifty-three seconds.
The Great Vajra rammed the sea-roach, forcing it to dodge. Then the Four-Legged Dragon seized the chance to pounce, pinning the sea-roach fast with her four claws and her tail — not seeking to wound, only to lock it down, leaving it no escape.
Right after, a figure burst from the top of the Great Vajra's cab.
Clad in the grim battle armor, it reflected a dim silver light under the sun. The Tyrant Broadsword raised high, trailing the colored flowing light of the sharpening reaction, carved a beautiful afterimage and came down hard on the sea-roach's head.
Zzzt, zzzt, zzzt!
The sea-roach's scream was like a short-circuiting wire.
Its slender legs kicked wildly, the two antennae on its head lashing at the Four-Legged Dragon like whips, the two long spikes on its tail-limb jutting high.
Unfortunately, under Shen Cong's training, the Four-Legged Dragon was no longer a beast that hunted on instinct alone.
She'd learned plenty of tricks by now. Each time the sea-roach struggled, she'd deliberately loosen her grip a touch, bleeding off its force. The sea-roach would think it had gotten free, spending its strength — and then the Four-Legged Dragon would erupt and pin it down fast again. When it swung its antennae and tail-spikes, she'd rock her body, keeping it from bringing its power to bear or taking proper aim.
The Four-Legged Dragon had the intelligence of a five- or six-year-old girl, but at hunting, she was flat-out gifted.
Unable to break loose, able only to take a beating, the sea-roach.
Facing a savage ultimate-grade iron person, the outcome had been settled from the very start.
Splat!
Splat!
Blow after blow, all landing on the sea-roach's head. Shen Cong liked the feeling of churning up a jin beast's brain — a pleasure in erasing his prey utterly, from body…
