"Tae-ung-a."
I turned at the familiar voice. Chairman Go Junyong was making his way through the crowd toward me.
But he wasn't alone.
Black leather jacket, round glasses. With him was a face so famous that seeing it in person felt a little strange.
Whoa!
I let out a cry of admiration inside. This was a man who'd hit it unbelievably big a few years from now and become one of the richest people in the world.
Jensen Wang, the founder of Nenvidia. Before my regression, every time the AI craze swept through, he'd been a fixture on the business news.
He'd widened the board from GPUs to data centers, then to AI, and driven his company's value to absurd heights.
And now here he was beside Chairman Go Junyong, smiling as he walked toward me.
Long live regression!!
"Let me introduce you."
Chairman Go Junyong patted me lightly on the shoulder. It was about as friendly as a gesture gets.
"Jensen Wang, of Nenvidia."
Jensen Wang looked at me with a smile. He had a really good face.
And above all, the golden aura coming off him……. Two thumbs up!
"I'm Jensen Wang. Nice to meet you. This is a wonderful housewarming party."
"I'm Ha Tae-ung. I've wanted to meet you."
"Me?"
"Very much."
A curious smile spread across Jensen Wang's lips.
"I've heard about you."
"What have you heard?"
"That you're very fond of my company's stock."
My eyes went naturally to Chairman Go Junyong. He casually turned his head away.
"Why are you looking at me?"
"Did you tell him, Hyungnim?"
"When did I?"
"Who else but you would say something like that, Hyungnim?"
"Word travels fast on Wall Street."
The nerve of him. Jensen Wang burst out laughing.
"It's not only Junyong I heard it from."
"Then who?"
"Michael was talking about you too, Chairman Ha."
Ah! Him, that makes sense.
I'd brought up Nenvidia in St Moritz, too, so my name might well have come up once or twice.
Jensen Wang studied me, still smiling.
"So I was curious."
"About what?"
"Why Nenvidia?"
The lightness…
