"……!!" The shock hit Hong Seokju hard. That fearless young giant has his eye on DM, which holds fourteenth place in the country's business rankings.

Why?

The question came at him hard, but no plausible reason came to mind.

DM, the Dongmyeong Group, is a collateral branch split off from the Ilseong Group.

That does not mean DM Group can be taken lightly.

Built on food and services, it has ranged out into biotechnology, logistics, entertainment and media.

It is a vast corporate group that has built the core subsidiaries in each field up around a holding company and holds them all under it.

A choice group that settled into fourteenth place in the rankings without a single heavy industry to its name — steel, shipbuilding, automobiles.

DMC in particular has grown steeply these last few years, carried on the back of the K-culture fever that has swept the world.

It is expanding right across the field — music, drama, film, variety, live performance and management.

When one piece of content it has planned succeeds, the revenue does not stop at home.

Japan and Southeast Asia go without saying; it reached out to America and Europe and brought money in.

In the meantime DMC grew into the core affiliate that stands for DM Group.

And that DM Group has become tangled in a quarrel with the young giant in front of him.

So he means to touch this one.

Hong Seokju's eyes took on an edge and narrowed. The instinct a man of finance is born with raised its head.

He means to swallow DM Group whole! Is that it?

No, that is not it. Client or not, Ha Tae-ung will know it is not an opponent to be approached that simply. He will move carefully. In that case……

"Chairman."

Hong Seokju spoke carefully.

"Is it DM that you want?"

Ha Tae-ung raised the whisky glass as far as his face. And a strange smile spreading at the corner of his mouth.

The Macallan thirty. The deep amber whisky took the light and swayed more beautifully inside the glass.

"No."
