Feng Qizheng looked sourly at the King of the Right Court sprawled on the ground, then hefted his blade and walked over to him.

"You're somebody, I'll give you that. Your father will make it quick... Don't mention it!"

He raised the blade.

"Wait!" Yue Congyun stopped him. "A lot of men were protecting him just now. He must be somebody big. Don't kill him yet. Better hand him over to the prince!"

Feng Qizheng thought it over and lowered his blade.

He walked up to Yue Congyun. "How'd I do just now?"

Yue Congyun nodded. She couldn't fault the way he'd fought.

"So do you want to marry me?"

Yue Congyun's face froze... What does that have to do with anything?

She'd expected him to keep pestering her. Instead he just said "Oh," hefted his blade and walked off.

A few steps on, he turned back to her. "When you feel like getting married, just say the word and your father will marry you... Old Feng's keeping the principal wife's spot open for you!"

A smile tugged at Yue Congyun's lips before she could stop it. Then something struck her as off. "Keeping the principal wife's spot for me? So you're planning on taking concubines too?"

Feng Qizheng said, dead serious, "Nope. Does your father even need concubines? Every pleasure house in Xuanwu City is mine."

Yue Congyun's mouth twitched hard, and her face darkened!

It never crossed Feng Qizheng's mind that he'd said anything wrong. He told her to be careful and to shout for him if she ran into anyone she couldn't beat, then went off with his modao to kill more of the enemy!

"Pah... Brainless brute!"

Yue Congyun was fuming. She spat after him, then ordered her men to take the King of the Right Court to Ning Chen.

The King of the Right Court…
