Kang Luo's face went the color of dead ash.

The Gaoli Kingdom's army would be on them soon.

There was no getting back to Nanyue.

He was cut off now with no help coming, penned in Gaotian City and dying there.

He had lost, and lost badly.

He struggled up and dragged his weak body over to the map.

Part of Nanyue's strength was tied down by the Gaoli Kingdom.

His men could not get back.

"A hundred and fifty thousand against Ning Chen's eighty thousand. With Old General Muye's ability, he should be able to hold Ning Chen."

Having worked it through, Kang Luo's face eased a good deal.

Wei Jian nodded. "Fourth Prince, then what do we do next?"

Kang Luo thought for a time and gradually got his calm back. "Pass the order. Have the officers and men rest and build their strength, and be ready for the Gaoli Kingdom's army when it comes."

"I…
