Ning Chen arrived just in time to see Liu Baiyi sliding down the roof.

It gave him a jolt. Gritting his teeth against the pain of his wound, he kicked off hard and shot toward Liu Baiyi with a burst of speed to save him.

Kang Baobao didn't panic in the least. She bowed low. "I am Kang Baobao. My respects, Old Heavenly Master!"

The old Heavenly Master frowned at her, suspicious. "You... Has this old Daoist seen you somewhere before?"

Kang Baobao only smiled and said nothing. She just gave her sleeves a flick.
