"My lord prince, take a look." Jin Dongxing pointed to the route already planned out on the map. "From Wangyue City, march northeast, and in no more than fifteen days you'll reach Nanyue's Qimu City.

Qimu City is rich in rare and precious timber, hence the name, 'Rare Wood.' Besides being close to the Nanyue imperial city, it's one of the wealthiest cities in Nanyue.

Of course, for that very reason, Qimu City has always had a large army stationed there. But last time the hundred thousand men Kang Luo led all came to grief at my lord prince's hands, so Nanyue is a little short of troops.

And now Kang Luo has pulled another hundred and fifty thousand off to the Great Xuan's Xiangzhou... So Qimu City has only fifty thousand."

Ning Chen looked at the map, his finger moving across it. "If I take Qimu City with the force of a thunderbolt, how long to Biluo City from there?"

Jin Dongxing said, "At my lord prince's marching speed, seven days is plenty.

Biluo City is only five days from the Nanyue imperial city. Once Biluo City falls, you can lead the army straight on the Nanyue imperial city."

Ning Chen narrowed his eyes. "How many troops are garrisoned at Biluo City?"

Jin Dongxing said, "Biluo City has a garrison of ten thousand."

Ning Chen paused. "That few?"

Jin Dongxing explained, "My lord prince, Biluo City is like Liangzhou in your Great Xuan. It sits right between the Nanyue imperial city and Qimu City, so it hardly needs a garrison at all.

The Nanyue imperial city had a hundred thousand men in the capital guard, but Kang Luo took forty thousand of them, so only sixty thousand are left.

The capital guard, though, is Nanyue's army of tigers and wolves, well equipped, brave and battle-hardened."

Ning Chen nodded slightly.

If they moved fast enough, they could fight their way to the Nanyue imperial city within a month.

Ning Chen suddenly laughed.

Even if Kang Luo got word now and tried to come back to defend it, he'd be too…
