The next day.

When Ning Chen woke up, the An Emperor had long gone to court.

He rose, climbed onto his beloved Diaochan, and rode out of the palace and home. Clop, clop, clop.

The Prince Regent's residence.

When Zisu and Yudie heard Ning Chen was back, they came running to meet him, overjoyed.

Ning Chen grimaced. "This Kang Xiao isn't an easy customer, and whoever broke him out can't be ordinary either. With the two of them hand in glove, the odds of finding him aren't good.

Then he changed the subject. "Old Pan, send someone to bring Yuan Long and Lei An here for me."

"Yes!"

Just then Xiao Yanxi walked in.

Ning Chen looked at Zisu and Yudie and hesitated. "Ahem... So, Little Xixi and I..."

Yudie smiled and took up where he left off. "We already know!"

Ning Chen paused.

Yudie went on, "Miss…
