The High Priestess looked at Ning Chen and explained, "This is ice-chill grass. Its nature is cold and yin. Eating it will be a little unpleasant, so bear with it..."

Before she could finish, she froze, and her voice cut off.

Ning Chen had already tossed the ice-chill grass into his mouth, chewed it a few times and swallowed.

The High Priestess was taken aback. "You just ate it? You weren't afraid it was a poisonous herb?"

Ning Chen glanced at her. This woman didn't seem very bright.

The High Priestess came from the Yuliu clan. If she dared kill him, never mind her own life, the whole Yuliu clan would be buried with him.

Suddenly Ning Chen shuddered.

He felt an icy yin chill burst through his body, as if his blood had frozen. He was shivering with cold.

The High Priestess said, "If my lord prince would bare his chest."

Ning Chen hesitated for a moment, but you don't hide from your doctor. He pulled open the front of his robe, baring a solid, muscular chest.

The High Priestess took a white porcelain bottle from the little cloth bag at her side, poured out some red liquid and smeared it on Ning Chen's chest.

It was blood. Ning Chen could smell it.

The High Priestess asked, "Do you feel anything?"

Ning Chen asked back without thinking, "Feel what?"

The High Priestess said, "Then you don't feel anything."

With that, she casually wiped the blood off Ning Chen's chest. "Now, if my lord prince would go run a couple of laps around the courtyard."

"Hm?"

The High Priestess explained, "You've just eaten ice-chill grass, so there's cold in your blood. A few laps will get your vitality moving and drive the cold out... But don't worry, ice-chill grass doesn't harm the body. It's actually good for it."

Ning Chen said, "Oh," and went outside. He ran through some sword forms until he couldn't feel the cold inside him anymore, then came back in.

The High Priestess said, "If my lord prince would bare his chest again."

Ning Chen tugged…
