"He got out on a suspended sentence?"

Mun-jong Lee, drinking with a woman on his arm, asked Seong-ho Kim about the verdict on Sang-jong Lee.

While Mun-jong Lee ate the fruit the woman handed him, Seong-ho Kim told him what had happened at the courthouse.

"Yes. It ended with a three-year suspension."

"And the prosecutors? Are they going to appeal?"

"They say they will… but from the way Chief Secretary Hwang was acting, it seems he's gotten to the prosecutors too. I expect the appeal period will just run out and the whole thing will quietly go away."

"Sure. It came out as a suspended sentence, and it wouldn't look good to appeal and drag it through a second instance and a third. Well, that worked out."

Mun-jong Lee gave the woman on his arm a pat on the backside.

"Oh, stop it. That tickles."

"That's why I do it. You looked pretty on TV this time."

"Min-ju, don't worry. The Vice-Chairman says he'll put you in the next movie in a supporting role."

"Supporting role? It should be the lead. Am I not good enough to be the lead?"

Chan-seok Park, the president of Sora Entertainment, tried to calm her down.

But she stuck out her lower lip, like even a supporting role wasn't good enough, and Mun-jong Lee, who seemed to find it cute, touched her lips with his finger and said,

"All right, all right. I'll buy the movie myself and put you in the lead, so don't worry."

"Vice-Chairman. Will you really buy it?"

Chan-seok Park asked Mun-jong Lee, his face lit up with delight.

Mun-jong Lee waved a hand without even looking at Chan-seok Park.

"Call the movie company and have them name a price. I'll put up the money, so buy it, President Park, and produce it yourself. Just make sure our princess here gets the lead."

"Of course. I'll make something really spectacular."
