The next morning.

Executive Director Yong-bae Jeong and Managing Director Cheol-yeong Jang came to Mun-jong Lee's office and reported the conversation they'd had with Gyeong-deuk Lee the day before.

After hearing the whole account, Mun-jong Lee spoke.

"So we can bring Seong-ho Kim in?"

"Yes. Gyeong-deuk Lee said as much himself."

"Then in the end, things have gone the way we wanted?"

Managing Director Cheol-yeong Jang nodded and answered in a voice that sounded pleased.

"Yes. I think we can expect good things."

"Good. Well, if that's so, this has worked out well, but..."

Mun-jong Lee tilted his head and asked.

"But you know, there's something I've wondered about for a while now."

Yong-bae Jeong and Cheol-yeong Jang looked at Mun-jong Lee, ready to answer whatever he was curious about.

Mun-jong Lee brushed off his knee with his hand and said.

"If we're bringing Kim in, wouldn't it make more sense for me, his elder brother-in-law, to be the one to talk to him?"

"That won't do."

Yong-bae Jeong raised both hands and waved them roughly.

"Won't do? Why not?"

At Executive Director Yong-bae Jeong's vehement reaction, Mun-jong Lee frowned, looking almost offended, and said.

"Seong-ho has told me himself, more than once, that he's on my side. He's even helped me out... so why not?"

"That's fine because it was just advice and favors exchanged between family. But what we're going to do from now on isn't that kind of thing, is it?"

"That's right."

Managing Director Cheol-yeong Jang agreed with Executive Director Yong-bae Jeong's words.

"Taking Ilhyeon Group into your hands isn't the kind of thing where family just lends a hand. There'll be a great deal ahead of us, and if you bring President Seong-ho Kim in yourself, Vice-Chairman, you could end up in a difficult position."

"What kind of difficult position?"

This time Executive Director Yong-bae Jeong answered.

"If things go wrong, President Kim could use your name, Vice-Chairman."
