Gi-myeong Lee raised his voice at Chung-do Lee, who stood watching him.
"If I don't know your wrongdoing, who would?"
"You? Where do you get off being so insolent to your elder brother—"
"Didn't you hear what the Chairman said? We have no connection at all — why would you be my brother?"
Chung-do Lee, about to fly into a rage, turned to look at a secretariat staff member who had shifted slightly.

"Before the Chairman takes any responsibility, you'll be the one taking it first."
Chung-do Lee's gaze swung back to Gi-myeong Lee.
Gi-myeong Lee opened his lower lip, faintly tinged with blood, and spoke to him.
"Our Jeong-u came back to Korea today."
"What? Researcher Jeong-u Lee came back?"
"The moment he landed, he went straight to the National Intelligence Service."
"What does Researcher Jeong-u Lee going to the National Intelligence Service have to do with me?"
Chung-do Lee could not hide his shock at the news that Gi-myeong Lee's son, Jeong-u Lee, had come back to Korea.
