Seong-ho Kim, having arrived at the airport, gazed at the sky where the sun was rising, then glanced at the watch on his wrist and muttered to himself.
"I should be able to make it in time."
Just then, a car pulled up in front of him, and the driver, Mr. Kim, stepped out of the driver's seat and greeted Seong-ho.
"I'm sorry. I'm a bit late."
"Not at all. The plane arrived earlier than scheduled, so please don't worry about it."
Despite being told it was fine, Mr. Kim kept apologizing to Seong-ho as he hurriedly loaded the luggage into the car. Then he opened the rear door so that Seong-ho could get in.
Seong-ho climbed in first and waited until the driver and Jeong-cheol Choi had gotten in as well. Once he confirmed that Mr. Kim was inside, he spoke.

Hearing Mr. Kim's reply, Seong-ho leaned back into his seat.
Jeong-cheol Choi, still turned toward Seong-ho, asked with a face that hadn't shed its puzzlement.
"My brother-in-law always finds visiting his in-laws incredibly stressful... Are you really all right with this?"
"I find going to Pyeongchang-dong enjoyable."
"You find going to your in-laws' house enjoyable?"
Jeong-cheol Choi turned to look at Seong-ho, his face colored with disbelief. Then he tilted his head, wondering whether being from a chaebol family made dealing with one's in-laws different somehow.
While Jeong-cheol Choi puzzled over the strangeness of it, the car carrying Seong-ho cut through the dawn mist and sped toward Pyeongchang-dong.
