Tak-hyeon sat before a stack of documents, yet his eyes lingered on one of them for a long time.
After staring down at it for a while, he pressed the intercom on his desk.
"Send in Chief Secretary Hwang."
Even after summoning Do-beom, Tak-hyeon didn't stop looking at the document.
Knock, knock.
A short while later, Do-beom came in and bowed his head.
"Chairman. You called for me?"
"Yes. Come here."
He held out the document he'd been studying.
"What's written here — is this true?"
Do-beom took the document with both hands, examined it, and answered.
"Yes, sir. It's true. President Kim, in Denmark, instructed head office to prepare the contract, and Maersk confirmed they're happy to proceed. They're apparently in the middle of the paperwork now."
"Seven hundred million dollars. It's a large sum, certainly… but is this all right?"
Tak-hyeon frowned and took the document back.

Tak-hyeon had put his finger on exactly the part that worried him, and it left a weight in his chest.
"President Kim said he had a method, and proceeded with the contract at 70 million."
"What method?"
"He said it would become clear in due course."
"That's an irresponsible thing to say."
Slap!
Tak-hyeon's face creased deeply, and he tossed the document down onto the desk.
"Where is President Kim now?"
"He finished his business in Denmark and said he'd be crossing over to Sweden. By now he's probably on the train to Sweden."
"Why Sweden? Is there a shipping company there as well?"
"No, sir. There isn't."
"Then why is he going?"
"That, I'm afraid I don't…"
There was nothing Do-beom could say beyond admitting he didn't know.
Since browbeating Do-beom would produce no answers, Tak-hyeon waved a hand.
"Fine. You may go."
Do-beom bowed his head and began backing out of the chairman's office.
Just then, Tak-hyeon raised a hand and called him back.
"Keep watching why…
