"Move? Where's this suddenly coming from?"
Byeong-jin Jo, following behind Seong-ho, asked with a puzzled look.
Seong-ho nodded lightly at the employees greeting him as he passed and spoke to Byeong-jin.
"I'm going to change the company's name too."
"Change the company's name?"
"How long has it been since we left Mirae, and it's still called Mirae? It should be Ilhyeon Heavy Industries. And we'll spend a bit of money making a proper company logo while we're at it."
Byeong-jin followed Seong-ho into his office and sat across from him as he took his chair.
Seong-ho looked at Byeong-jin and said,
"We're part of the Ilhyeon Group now, so it needs to become Ilhyeon Heavy Industries. And while we're at it, we move offices too. How long are we supposed to sit in a shopping arcade watching peddlers wander in and out?"
"You're absolutely right about that, but…"
Just then the office door opened and Jeong-cheol Choi came in.
Jeong-cheol Choi fumbled out the handwritten receipt he'd gotten from the old man earlier and held it out to Byeong-jin.
Byeong-jin looked at the receipt being offered to him and said,
"Why are you giving that to me?"
"Then who should I—"
"Give it to me."
Seong-ho held out a hand.
Jeong-cheol Choi turned the receipt toward Seong-ho but couldn't quite hand it over.
He couldn't work out whether it was all right to give this to Seong-ho.
"It's fine, give it here, and go tell the staff to take some sweet potatoes."
Seong-ho waved his hand for the receipt and spoke to Jeong-cheol Choi.
"Yes, sir."
Jeong-cheol Choi, about to leave the office, suddenly stopped and asked Seong-ho,
"Sir. How many should I tell each of them to take?"
"Sort it out yourself, Secretary Choi. Use your judgment."
"There are sixty employees, so… I suppose I'd better start by counting the sweet potatoes. Understood."
Jeong-cheol Choi muttered to himself, then gave a quick bow and left.
Seong-ho watched him go with a small smile.
