They were nothing like the Night Empress, hidden entirely inside her starlight, nor like the Unfallen Supreme, blazing with divine might and gleaming gold from head to foot. The two of them looked no different from ordinary people. There was none of the fierce majesty of divine-tier powers about them, none of the dazzling glory of divine light shining in every direction. If anything, they looked like two adorable little girls from next door — especially the younger one, who looked like a good student at an academy, studying hard, training diligently and always doing as she was told. Where was even a trace of a divine-tier power’s lofty pride, standing at the summit and looking down on the world?
Were these two really divine-tier powers?
Even the Night Empress could not help rubbing her eyes.

“How did you two…?” Once the Night Empress was sure she was not dreaming and had not fallen for an enemy illusion, she could not help asking — because the two who had come splitting through the void were Yi Nan and Yue Bing, who had gone with Yue Yang to the Trial Grounds months ago and had not been seen since. Before, these two little girls had not even passed the divine envoy realm. How had they skipped every step in between and climbed all the way to the divine tier at once? And on top of that, the divine-tier might they were showing now was several times greater than the Night Empress’s own, after all her hard cultivation and her struggle to reach the divine tier. How was that possible!
“Is this an illusion?” Even the Unfallen Supreme doubted his own eyes.
His full-force blow had been turned aside by the divine mirror they condensed, and he had stepped on the divine thorns and been poisoned half to death, yet even now he could not accept the truth in front of him.
Had he really been wounded by two little girls like these?

If she had not seen it with her own eyes, and if they had not been her own kin and juniors, the Night Empress could never have accepted it.

“You’ve been so good. This carrying must have been so hard!” The Night Empress knew Yi Nan and Yue Bing were only making it sound easy.
However easily they put it, carrying something for someone else by force, without divine-tier power of their own, was an arduous task. And they had taken on, all at once, a terrifying divine power several realms higher than their own. What price must they have paid? How painful must that process have been?
The Night Empress could hardly bear to imagine it.
She wondered whether, under the same conditions, she would have had the endurance to outlast Yi Nan and Yue Bing…
“An empowerment like this joins divine power with one’s own wisdom and endurance. It stands on potential, talent, treasures, war beasts and the like as its foundation, and from one small point of origin it raises a tower ten thousand feet high. The resolve is admirable; the subtlety, wondrous. If one day the one they carry it for awakens and the two are joined, it will likely not be long before his own potential turns it into reality, and he formally claims the divine-tier realm that now rests only on their shoulders.” The Immovable Supreme let out a long sigh. After who knew how long, he spoke again in a deep voice, with utter gravity: “If we cannot break through within three days, this battle is finished. A great defeat is coming.”
“That damned Yue Titan will be able to take on the divine-tier power they are carrying in three days, and awaken to the divine tier for real?” The Unfallen Supreme felt a sense of danger strike him out of nowhere, and beads of cold sweat broke out on his forehead.
“If Yue Titan can take on these two girls’ divine-tier power, it really will be a thorny problem!” The Undefeated Supreme also felt things were taking a bad turn.
If that hidden Yue Titan could take on the full divine-tier power of the two girls in front of them in three days, and had Yeyu, Night Dream and Vivienne helping him besides, this battle was not going to end well. Dongfang’s game plan, thousands of years in the making, might very well go down the drain. Most frightening of all was the “guardian” behind Yue Titan who had empowered these two girls. At the thought, the Unfallen Supreme could not stop a shudder. The next moment his shock and fury erupted like a volcano, and he charged at Yi Nan, Yue Bing and the Night Empress, swinging his fists. “Kill! I will never allow this to happen! Die — you must all die!”
Before the Night Empress could even move, Yi Nan and Yue Bing had already shot out to meet him. Four little fists together easily knocked him back ten thousand meters.
The divine mirror gave a nimble, uncanny turn, and the ball of sunlight the retreating Unfallen Supreme hurled at them was deflected off into the sky.
From the other side, countless sealing divine powers bore down from beyond the highest heavens and the netherworld — and were torn apart like paper by the four hands of two holy Titan treants, each a thousand meters tall. Green spirit light filling the sky took the form of a woman who stood guard behind Yue Bing. With a touch of her slender finger, countless ancient trees were wrenched up out of the void, and joined with Yue Bing’s own domain to form an ancient forest that heaven and earth might shatter, but whose life was eternal.
“Impossible! You two are not divine-tier powers yourselves — how can you match us?” The Unfallen Supreme was on the verge of going mad. He had discovered that he could not beat two little girls.
“What we carry is the power of fate. It surpasses everything in the world — you could never shake it!” Yi Nan gave a little humph. She had never once seen anything that surpassed the power of Yue Yang’s Fate Giant. She did not know how the mysterious guardian had separated this power of fate from Yue Yang and placed it on her, but once it was successfully carried, nothing could shake it until Yue Yang took it back — not even a divine-tier power!
“Nobody can stop Big Brother! Until I fall, you’re not getting your way!” Yue Bing’s true nature was utterly pure, and with that guardian’s guidance, she had perfectly joined together the Sovereign Intent she had comprehended, her grimoire, her domain, her war beasts, the ancient runes and more.
Never mind the hasty seal the Undefeated Supreme had thrown out in a moment of panic — even a thousand blows could never easily shake the ancient forest she had now condensed with divine power.
Life that never dies; the ancient that endures forever… This was the Divinity she had been granted for now, and the highest expression of her Sovereign Intent. A power like this might be a little weak in attack, but in guarding itself, not even ten thousand foes could break it!
