"The accident's more or less taken care of."

"Thanks for your trouble, Attorney Jo~."

"CEO Jang, every time you cause trouble, you end up in a hospital bed. Is it a hobby?"

"I'm weaker than I look, you see."

"You don't have to feed me a line."

"A line? My attending physician told me I need complete rest~."

"Looks perfectly fine to me. It's not like I haven't seen this before~ Heh heh heh."

Attorney Jo gave a sly grin.

My partner since high school, Attorney Jo had more or less figured it out, as usual.

"It's the aftereffects. Nobody hands out sixteen weeks of prescribed recovery for nothing. The doctors aren't quacks, you know."

"The guy you hit, CEO Jang, got sixteen weeks too. Seriously injured. Several broken ribs, bruising all over, early signs of a brain bleed~"

From what CEO Hwang Yeon-tae and A.T Security's intelligence team had dug up, the bastard was vicious.

A mistress was the least of it; he preyed on minors, married women and actresses.

He had a perverted streak a mile wide, and he took bribes constantly.

All his life, he'd been a plague on everyone around him.

I couldn't leave alone a man who'd decided to live however he pleased.

Ban Jong-o would watch his step on his own for a while.

They were scrambling to deal with a scandal that had broken years early.

Normally something like this wouldn't even dent the Ban family.

They had the staying power to survive all the way to 2020.

They were thick as thieves with the regime, so I'd only given them a taste.

Sharp as they were, they'd read the signal.

I planned to send a warning through Director Son Dae-gyun.

There were ways aplenty to make their lives miserable.

I'd run a macro.

The kind of illegal comment program that wouldn't make headlines until 2018.

It was easy…
