Crash-crash-crash.
The food and liquor bottles on the table went flying and shattered.
"Get your hand off her, you son of a bitch!!!"
SMAAAACK.
A furious roar, and with it the crisp crack of a slap.
"Kyaaaaaaaaah!"
The startled women screamed.
Before anyone could stop it, the man who'd been groping On Si-eun's shoulder took it across the face, and his head snapped sideways.
"Kh!"
He cried out and went flying into the corner of the sofa.
"Wh-what the hell!!!"
"Whoa! This bastard's lost his mind! You know whose place this is? Starting shit in here!!!"
The men leaped to their feet.
"Keep running your mouths, you damn fools, if you want to die."
Jang Tae-san had swept the table clean, and nothing was holding him back.
The ice-cold warning froze every one of them for a moment.
"Senior Si-eun. Are you okay?"
He ignored the eyes on him and tended to On Si-eun.
"Mmm... yeah."

"Who... drugged heeeeeeer!!!"
The roar shook the room.
Faced with that blazing fury, no one dared open their mouth. They held their breath.
Whatever he was, they knew by instinct that he was dangerous.
He looked like a mother beast protecting her cub.
Who the hell is this guy!!!
Jeong Hyeon-ju was thrown by Jang Tae-san's attitude.
All through high school, her father had never stopped comparing her to On Si-eun.
Looks, personality, grades—On Si-eun had outshone Jeong Hyeon-ju in everything.
At first she'd been open with Si-eun, but her father's comparisons sank her deeper and deeper into an inferiority complex.
However hard she studied, she couldn't keep up.
So she went the other way from On Si-eun—bad.
Using everything money could buy, she seized power at their girls' school.
She tormented On Si-eun with everything she had, but Si-eun was tough and pushed through all of it.
Good friends had Si-eun's back.
She had true friends—the kind Jeong Hyeon-ju never had.
One of them…
