And I got my power from Hua Tuo.

Not for free, of course.

I was busy for a good long while, seeing to the customers.

Hua Tuo's acupuncture was flawless.

He'd slip in black needles and pass his hand over them a few times, and heads would turn back around and bones snap into place.

He even scooped guts back in by hand.

Then he stitched them up neatly with a needle.

The gods' energy, what they called points, was the raw material.

None of it was cheap, let alone free.

He billed ten times the points or more.

He told me to come by often.

He'd picked me as his points exchange, to swap his dark karma points for him.

He even gave me a prophecy—that someday I'd have a big use for them.

"The bullet just grazed me."

Shaking off the memory, I answered Attorney Jo.

"Yeah? Well, that's a relief."

The bullet had only grazed my left arm, but the one in my leg had done real damage.

I'd rushed back to the human world and pressed my pressure points to stop the bleeding.

Once the bleeding stopped, I circulated my internal energy to protect my energy and blood.

At the same time, I called CEO Han Jin-ung to take care of the killer.

The killer had come in without a sound, so wiping away the traces…
