Seeing the two of them getting all lovey-dovey again, Zhang Ruowei rolled her eyes and walked over to Zhao Ming.

After the morning's fittings at the bridal shop, Yu Beiwang and Pei Youwei headed off first, a little before noon. The other four had lunch out together, and in the afternoon they all went their separate ways.

On the way, Chen Qingqing took Xu Ye's phone and sent herself the photo Zhang Ruowei had taken that morning. She'd meant to touch it up a little, but the photo had come out beautifully. The light off the wedding dress lit her face like a built-in filter. So she left it alone and quietly saved it.

Xu Ye noticed. "Post it in the group so your mom can see."

"No way."

"What, feeling shy?"

Chen Qingqing gave a cute little huff and ignored him.

When they got back to the company, everyone was hard at work. Passing the conference room, Xu Ye saw Li Tongwen meeting with a client. They seemed to be getting along well, so Xu Ye didn't go in.

Xu Ye had only been at his desk a few minutes when Li Tongwen knocked and came in. He smiled. "Xu Ye, I think you'll be interested in this project. Want to take a look?"

"What project?"

"Smart robots. It involves software and AI, which I don't know much about. But they're grad students from Zhejiang University, and they've won a bunch of awards at robotics competitions."

Xu Ye held out his hand. "Let me see the proposal."

Li Tongwen handed it over quickly. As Xu Ye took it, Li Tongwen explained, "The leader's a Shanghai local. He graduates this year and already has an offer from a big company, but he isn't ready to settle. He saw the startup support program for college students still posted on our website, so he came straight to us. That's why there's not much in the proposal. He hasn't even registered a company yet."

"Come on. Let's go talk to him."
