An Sanshun's research team wasn't mainly there to develop high technology. Its job was to put high technology to use. In other words, Shen Cong took whatever high technology the new government produced and had the research team find ways to build it into the iron lion. The iron lion was the model through which he hoped to catch a glimpse of a Transformer.

The team had rebuilt the iron lion again and again, trying out all kinds of structures based on the "mechanical–Activity wave" concept.

All that data was Shen Cong's technical stockpile for the Transformer Development Strategy. He also had the Space Fortress Plan, and those two plans were the heart of his future development. But the Transformer Development Strategy came first. When he finally broke away from Earth, he and his vehicle had to be able to defend themselves, at the very least.

So cutting-edge projects like "launching satellites" had all been put on hold.

Old Luo had become the first Colossus, but so far there was little use for him, and he spent his days bored, watching movies and playing games. The Train Convoy's three vehicles were still being towed along behind, barely used.

There was nothing to be done about it.

You eat a meal one bite at a time. Nobody climbs to heaven in a single step.

For now even a Transformer was still far out of reach. The good news was that this refit plan showed the first faint shadow of one.

Once the refit was done, the Four-Armed Vajra would be even more ferocious than before.

Sooner or later it would transform, and in style.

"The Locust-Plus Mushroom-Bug Sword is the main combat weapon. With black-stone power cells as Activity batteries, we can run two of them, one on each of two Qilin Arms. Those two Qilin Arms go on the roof, one over the front of the vehicle and one over the back, so the whole vehicle falls inside their attack range."

"Then in the middle section of the body we can mount two more Qilin Arms, and these two are…
