"What is life? Humans are life. Firestarter Spirits are life. Then is the Firestarter comet life, since the Earth's upheaval and metal life came from it? Is the Earth life, since every life in the old world came from it? Metal can be life, organic matter can be life. Why can't the universe be life? Why can't the heavenly bodies in it be life?"

"Then why can't the Firestarter I'm meant to evolve into be a universe?"

"Fine, the universe is too big. I can't make sense of it... But then why can't it be an Earth? Layer wrapped around layer, lava flowing, everything evolving out of it?"

Where do planets come from?

They are gestated in nebulae, and nebulae come from the Big Bang or from dying stars. When chemically unstable elements like hydrogen and oxygen dominate, the nuclear reactions inside the body are violent, and it becomes a star. When chemically stable elements like silicon and iron dominate, it becomes a planet.

In short, a planet is a collection of elements.

And then, in a flash, it came to him.

Shen Cong's biological brain, which hadn't stirred in a long time, seemed to answer his thoughts at that moment and underwent a dramatic change. The brain was no longer simply a brain. It began changing toward the form his thoughts were leading it to: glowing Firestarter grains piling up layer on layer, metal fluid wrapping around them layer on layer, Firestarter energy rippling within, Activity waves sparking across the surface.

It wasn't the biological brain turning into the Earth. It was the biological brain mimicking the Earth.

Mimicking the most brilliant, many-splendored heavenly body in the universe.

"Actually, a Superbrain can be seen as a nebula that has just gathered together, and a Superbrain's collapse is the nebula compressing into a planet. The biological brain is another road, a special stage born by combining with organic life. Rearranged and recombined, it can also develop toward a planet."

That was the theory Shen Cong had tinkered together.

He hadn't expected any of it to work. But when his thoughts…
