Scarlet clouds, chaotic and restless Activity—the changes all around kept growing stronger, and even Shen Cong felt uneasy.

"Chairman, something's wrong today. I keep feeling tremors in my chest. I've never had a flutter this strong before," Hu Wei said over the radio, sounding a little nervous.

"Something big is about to happen on Earth..." Shen Cong said offhandedly, voicing his guess.

"No way." Hu Wei coughed. "I'll use the Super-Thunder Wave to ask how things are in other places."

Things in other places didn't look good either.

In places like New Hefei and Huai'an, only the Activity in the air was chaotic and the clouds a little thicker, with no scarlet. In the Mushroom City, the Activity concentration shot up and radial clouds appeared in the sky. The sky over Linyi City was cloudless, but water began seeping up out of the ground over wide areas.

Scarlet clouds filled the sky over the Baoding theater. Over the Langfang theater, scarlet clouds too. In the Tianjin theater, seawater from the Bohai poured inland and turned the land into swamp. In the Beijing theater, the ground had already sunk in several places, and the birds and beasts were panicking.

The changes were not all the same, but every region had something strange going on.

"I have the same feeling Hu Wei does, and it isn't the first time for me... Back when I was still on the Liaoning, drifting at sea a while before the ocean rose, I felt a flutter like this. It was much fainter, though," Zhang Changde said over the Super-Thunder Wave station.

Chen Xiuni, stationed at New Hefei, shared what she felt too. "I feel the same as you."

All three nuclear-grade iron people felt the flutter.

So did Shen Cong, at particle-grade.

Several ultimate-grade iron people could faintly feel the flutter too.

That, along with the strange changes everywhere, put the new government's top leaders on alert at once. Liu Yiwu, as usual, asked Shen Cong first. "Chairman Huang, what do you make of this?"

"Something big is going to happen on Earth." Shen Cong repeated…
