Shen Cong's discussion with Wang Yuecheng and the others turned mainly on two subjects — the Super-Thunder Wave station and trade in technology.
Boiled down, they were really one subject.
It did not concern him how the Eastern Theater Command, the China Rescue Team and the Provisional Government handled their relations with one another, so long as it did not get in the way of the joint plan.

The Provisional Government's attitude had to be established first, before he let out information that important.
The talks went smoothly enough, or at least the atmosphere was decent and Shen Cong's cold voice never froze the room. Wang Yuecheng played it warm, a man with the whole world on his conscience and pity in him for all of it. He called the Eastern Theater Command brothers, and called the business with the China Rescue Team a misunderstanding.
With Shen Cong he laid the courting on thick.
It did not work, of course. Shen Cong's manner stayed cold and did not shift by a hair, and inside he was quietly on his guard. He had seen too many films and television shows: the wider a tiger smiles, the more he likes to scheme behind your back and plot a man's ruin.
Wang Yuecheng had no idea he had already been tagged a schemer.
"Setting up a Super-Thunder Wave station, so that information can pass between the various survivor organizations, is a duty the government cannot shift onto anyone else. Let me state our position here: however we settle matters between the government, the Rescue Team and the Eastern Theater Command, building the Super-Thunder Wave station is something we cannot decline. We'll cooperate with Boss Huang from the first moment."
"When can it be built?" Shen Cong asked.
Wang Yuecheng said, "That still has to go through the standing committee. The date will probably be inside two or three days. As for exchanging technology, that should be no trouble either.
