Shen Cong had no idea anyone was looking at the Vajra Fortress and seeing a remote-control toy car, or he'd have fought them to the death over it. People with no aesthetic sense like that didn't deserve to live in this world.

After leaving Diamond Park, Shen Cong found himself at something of a loss.

There was plenty of research still outstanding, but most of it could be handed over to the Eastern Theater Command.

He'd become a man with nothing to do.

That aimlessness lasted only a moment before Shen Cong found himself something to get on with.

While the theater's research personnel had yet to arrive, he went through the Apocalypse Journal from beginning to end and decided to take stock of the knowledge and the technology he had banked.

Activity waves were arguably the single greatest secret of the Firestarter's remaking of the Earth; the differing frequencies, combinations, wavelengths and structures of Activity waves displayed the peculiar charm of a metallic civilization.

Natural carrier vehicles, artificial carrier vehicles, telepathy — these were the Activity waves relating to carrier vehicles.
