A jin person was marked by possessing a jin core; an iron person, by possessing a carrier vehicle.

A carrier vehicle shared a life-integration relationship with iron beasts and iron people; iron people and iron beasts were the pilots of their carrier vehicles. There were also carrier vehicles without a pilot — these were called natural carrier vehicles.
