Mun-jong Lee called out to Seong-ho Kim, who was walking along supporting Gyeong-eun Lee.
"Vice-Chairman Kim."
Coming to a stop for a moment, Seong-ho Kim turned his body and looked behind him.
"Let me have a word with you."
"Go on. Didn't you say the eldest brother would be all worked up?"
Gyeong-eun Lee, who had been in the living room with them a little earlier, knew why Mun-jong Lee was calling Seong-ho Kim.
And so she told Seong-ho Kim to go, and made a request of Hyeon-ju Bang.
"Sister. Would you help me a moment?"
"Of course, sister-in-law. Let's go together."
Hyeon-ju Bang, thinking it had fallen out well, hurried over to Gyeong-eun Lee.
And taking Seong-ho Kim's place in supporting her, she walked off across the yard.
Seong-ho Kim watched Gyeong-eun Lee's retreating figure a moment, then spoke to the Mun-jong Lee who had come close.
"What is it you want?"
"It's about Sang-jong."
When Sang-jong Lee's name came up, Seong-ho Kim nodded quietly.
Mun-jong Lee turned his head a moment to look at the main house, then spoke in a low voice.
"What do you think?"
"Think about what?"
Seong-ho Kim put the question as though he did not know.
"That solar window Ilhyeon Windows is supposed to have developed."
Worried, it seemed, that his talk might carry as far as the main house, Mun-jong Lee drew Seong-ho Kim along and moved away from it as he went on.
"To my thinking, it's strange however I look at it."
"Did you not call in the president of Ilhyeon Windows and ask him?"
"I asked him."
Mun-jong Lee answered as though it went without saying, and put out a hand.
"Which is why it's stranger still."
The president of Ilhyeon Windows had been unable to produce a clear answer to the talk now going about the market.
