Seong-ho Kim looked quietly at Jeong-sik Park's whitened face and said,
"It strikes me that would be for the better. Because only then can your grievance be resolved as well, Secretary Park. Is that not so?"
"Th-that's… it isn't so much a grievance…"
Jeong-sik Park did not know what he ought to say.

"President Min-gu Noh did?"
The face of a Jeong-sik Park who had already gone white went whiter still.
At hearing that words he had brought out in order to receive money had reached the ear of the President, he felt even a sense of vertigo.
"Because the President takes a great interest in Ilhyeon. So it seems he heard of your matter as well, Secretary Park, and gave a direct instruction that not a grain of grievance or suspicion be left. Don't worry too much."
"Vice-Chairman."
"I know what it is you're worried about, Secretary Park. Even if you are to be punished, you want it to be within the bounds of the law, do you not?"
