Following the guidance of an event attendant, Seong-ho Kim, Dae-hwang Jin and Jeong-cheol Choi arrived at the bar where the Paddock Club's breakfast and briefing were held.

On the large television set in the bar, highlights of the previous day's qualifying were playing.

Jeong-cheol Choi looked around him with wide eyes and said quietly,

"Vice-Chairman. This place is another world entirely."

Dae-hwang Jin was every bit as astonished as Jeong-cheol Choi.

Because for all that he had travelled to many countries and been through many first-class hotels, a place that looked as luxurious as this was something he too was experiencing for the first time.

A staff member holding a champagne glass approached the three of them.

"So you gentlemen are the VIPs who've come from Korea. Pleased to meet you. I'm John Malone of Liberty Media, in charge of the F1 business."

"Pleased to meet you. My name is Seong-ho Kim, of Ilhyeon Electronics."

"Oh — Ilhyeon Electronics. I know it."

John Malone, shaking Seong-ho Kim's hand with the champagne still in the other, released the hand and drew something from his pocket.

"My mobile phone is an Ilhyeon Electronics one too."

"Thank you for using our product."

"So what position does Mr. Kim hold at Ilhyeon Electronics?"

As he put the question to Seong-ho Kim, John Malone's gaze moved naturally to Dae-hwang Jin standing behind him.

Because however he looked at it, the central figure of the party seemed to be the Dae-hwang Jin standing quietly at the back.

But an unexpected answer came from Seong-ho Kim.

"I hold the position of Vice-Chairman of Ilhyeon Group."

"Vice-Chairman? Do you mean V-i-c-e C-h-a-i-r-m-a-n?"

In case a young man from the East who looked no more than twenty had misspoken, John Malone asked out the spelling of vice-chairman one letter at a time, distinctly.

"That's correct. And this is President Dae-hwang Jin, who is responsible for the Devices Sector, semiconductors included."

Seong-ho Kim knew what John Malone was doubting.
