Min-yeong Oh came into the room and pressed Sang-jong Lee hard.
"Have you lost your mind? What is all this sudden business of making a bet?"
"Asking your own husband whether he's lost his mind? It's you who has lost hers. Life has been a little comfortable for you lately, has it? Shall I remind you of the old days?"
Sang-jong Lee rolled up his sleeves and moved toward Min-yeong Oh.
But Min-yeong Oh paid no mind at all to Sang-jong Lee in that state, and raised her voice.
"If you're going to hit me, then at least tell me why you made the bet first. Why did you make the bet, I'm asking?"
Min-yeong Oh gave Sang-jong Lee's body a light push and spoke in a voice brimming with grievance.
"And what will you do if the youngest brother-in-law tells you to step down as President of Ilhyeon Construction?"
"Weren't you the one telling me not to worry, because we have Jun-myeong?"

Something bitter came surging up out of Min-yeong Oh's chest.
She had prayed, and prayed again, that Sang-jong Lee would not do anything foolish.
