Hyeon-ju Bang's outburst broke out from the moment the car started for home.
"Why couldn't it occur to you that President Chung-do Lee would have gone to Father first!"

Mun-jong Lee could not answer, and only made a groaning noise.

"How was I supposed to know President Chung-do Lee had fallen out of Father's favor? He's one of the main forces that built Ilhyeon Electronics up to what it is — who could have guessed he'd lost trust to that extent!"

Because failing to break off at a reasonable point had been, exactly as she said, his own blunder.
