Seeing Yeong-bae Song looking around in a panic, Jeong-eun realized something had gone wrong.

Sensing that the situation was anything but ordinary, she began quietly putting distance between herself and Yeong-bae Song.

Backing away, she addressed him.

Cut off mid-rebuke by a voice calling his name, Yeong-bae Song turned to look where Jeong-cheol Choi was pointing.

A man in a black suit and glasses, accompanied by others in jackets, was approaching.

"Prosecutor Dae-su Park, Special Investigation Division, Seoul District Prosecutors' Office. You are under arrest, Vice President Yeong-bae Song, on suspicion of violating the Act on the Aggravated Punishment of Specific Economic Crimes. I have a warrant here, so let's do this pleasantly."

"Under the Miranda rule you may remain silent, and anything you say from this point may be used against you in court. You have the right to retain counsel, and if you are unable to afford counsel, the state can appoint one — just say the word."
