Seong-ho looked down at the plate holding Ilhyeon Hotel's dumplings and gave his second option.

"We improve everything — the dumplings and every other dish — and bring it back out new. At a higher level than last time. Quality good enough to stand up not just in Korea, but anywhere in the world."

"So how exactly do you intend to do that? Give me the method. The method."

Tak-hyeon's voice carried unmistakable irritation.

"Do you think I'm asking because I don't already know that much? Hm?"

"Chairman."

Seong-ho looked at the visibly annoyed Tak-hyeon with an expression of genuine puzzlement.

"As I said a moment ago, I was laying out the options available to us. I haven't yet given you the solution."

Bang, bang.

Tak-hyeon struck the table with his hand and raised his voice.

"Then get to the solution! Stop eating up everyone's time here."

As Seong-ho went on stalling, refusing to come straight to the point and talking around the matter instead, Tak-hyeon's temper began to rise.

About time to tell him.

Seeing Tak-hyeon's irritation building, Seong-ho recognized that the moment had arrived.

There was, in fact, a reason Seong-ho hadn't offered the solution to Tak-hyeon straight away.

He had to present, to Tak-hyeon himself, the method Tak-hyeon had come up with in the life before.

The reaction would be far more dramatic if the man heard it before he could arrive at it himself — so Seong-ho had deliberately been provoking him, keeping him from landing on the idea.

And exactly as Seong-ho intended, Tak-hyeon had grown steadily more preoccupied with what Seong-ho was about to say rather than working it out on his own.

"The method is simple. If the White Hotel's dumplings are better than ours, then we simply make our dumplings the way the White Hotel makes theirs."
