Watching the TV, Byeong-jin tilted his head as if he couldn't quite understand.

"Should I move on to the next clip?"

"Is the next one where he made the women employees stand up and dance on his birthday?"

"That's the one. Complete lunatic. He's not exactly a king, is he…"

Byeong-jin was letting out disbelieving laughs, still finding it absurd on reflection.

"I can't even get past the fact that he beat people, but calling in the women employees to dance for his birthday — this really isn't the sort of thing anyone but that dictator up north—"

Byeong-jin was as furious as if the whole thing had happened to him personally.

"That's why they say the way to find out what a person really is, is to give them power."

"You're right about that. That guy watched his step while he was at Ilhyeon Distribution, but the moment he got the Ilhyeon Electric presidency, his true colors came out. But you know—"

Byeong-jin cast a sidelong glance at the TV, where Chang-jong's story was still running, and said—

"That guy is playing king like that over at Ilhyeon Electric — so why was he trying so hard to move over to Ilhyeon Globevision?"

And then he asked Seong-ho, cautiously—

"Do you think maybe he caught wind of your plan and was trying to jump seats?"

"That won't be it. The only ones who know my plan are you and me."

Seong-ho laughed loudly as if he'd heard a funny joke, and said—
