But no one paid much attention to what kind of company had been newly created, or why the spinoff had happened.

Spinoffs and mergers between affiliates were common occurrences, and in the case of a small company like Ilhyeon Distribution, people didn't think it warranted much attention at all.

"No idea."

"Is this part of the restructuring too?"

"Who else? That extra mouth to feed over there."

The colleague pointed somewhere while calling it an "extra mouth to feed."

The man sitting beside him with a cigarette in his mouth recalled what his colleague meant by "extra mouth" and nodded.

"Ah... so we should be worrying about a merger with Doa Motors, not a spinoff."

"If we merge with Doa Motors, there'll be a bloodbath. You think they'll need both their staff and all of us?"

"I suppose... when will this restructuring nonsense ever end..."

"Tell me about it. I just want to work without having to worry about all this."

As they exhaled long streams of smoke in agreement, someone entered the break room.

"Why, who's looking for me?"
