The wall was piled up from stone, its meaning as a demarcation of the city's boundary greater than its meaning as defense.

In this new world, where evolved beasts ran to bodies of ten-some or tens of meters at the drop of a hat, a city wall really was meaningless.

The Third Eye now reached a four-hundred-fifty-meter clear-vision field and a nine-hundred-meter blurred-vision field; the Third Eye Radar reached an eight-hundred-meter clear-vision field and a sixteen-hundred-meter blurred-vision field. It had comprehensively surpassed the function of electronic radar, so that now the truck's radar could only be applied to what automatic driving required.

Sweeping the surroundings and confirming there were only Huang Caishan and a few others, no ambush, Shen Cong then got out of the truck.

He looked at Huang Caishan and Guo Shanni. "Where's Han Shoucheng?"

"Commander Han returned to the XY City theater yesterday and dispatched me to come administer Mushroom City, bringing Little Guo over along the way to keep serving as your communications officer."
