It took a fair while — a full three minutes — before Shen Cong finally cut down both the giant sandworm that had wanted to play the fisherman and the frog-faced giant spanner-crab.

The giant spanner-crab, 3.324H Talent — super-grade jin beast.

The giant sandworm, 2.715H Talent — high-grade jin beast.

Having strutted their stuff on land for barely a few days, they set off for the underworld together with that 2.95H super-grade jin beast sea-roach.

Killing two jin beasts back to back cost Shen Cong no small amount, so he simply rested a few minutes on the spot. He hopped straight onto the giant spanner-crab and dismounted both pincers — this part was jin core. The two-meter-plus pincers, slender at the tip, were extremely well-suited to forging great blades and sickles.

"This time I'll forge two three-meter great blades, the edge at least a meter long." Shen Cong set the pincers in the vehicle bay, calculating silently.

His body was only a meter nine tall — not especially tall.

But paired with his terrifying physical qualities and the grim Hell Plant Armor, an ordinary two-meter great blade plainly no longer fit his hand. Jin beasts ran to dozens of meters long, their hides one or two meters thick; without a handy great blade, there was simply no way to amplify his attack damage.

This was also the reason Shen Cong was unwilling to face the ultimate-grade jin beast, the giant seal.

A body as huge as the giant seal's — how big a weapon would it take to slice open its skin and hurt it?

Unable to cut through the skin, relying on strikes to the vitals alone, the difficulty was too great.

With a three-meter great blade, dealing with an ultimate-grade jin beast, his damage would be increased, at least a little. Dealing with super-grade jin beasts, it was simpler still — no need to hunt for weak points; even a flat swing could deal enormous damage. Right now everything he was dealing with was super-grade jin beasts that had crawled up from the ocean.

In the seawater…
