Seong-ho Kim looked at these nobodies who fancied themselves upper class, then gave Ja-hwang Gu a scornful smile.

"FK Construction, was it?"

"What?"

"The company your father runs."

"Wait. Who said you could talk down to me when we barely know each other… Hey. How old are you?"

"Wouldn't bringing up age here work against you? You were in school with Gyeong-eun, and Gyeong-eun is younger than me. So anyone can see I'm the older one, can't they?"

"You…"

Ja-hwang's face went red. There was no arguing with that.

Myeong-eun Choi, the host and the one running the show, saw the VIPs' attention fixing on Ja-hwang and Seong-ho. She hurriedly stopped the show, ran over to Ja-hwang and grabbed his arm.

"Hey, are you drunk? Are you trying to ruin my show? What's wrong with you?"

Myeong-eun lost her temper, and Ja-hwang shook off her hand.

Myeong-eun said nothing, but she agreed.

So did the other VIPs.

Most of them thought Seong-ho's success was all thanks to marrying Gyeong-eun. Whatever he'd achieved, whatever people said about him, in their circle he was a successful steward, nothing more and nothing less.

Ja-hwang saw the support in the faces around him.

So he looked even more smug, and Gyeong-eun's face was turning bright red.

But Seong-ho, the one they were all talking about, didn't look bothered at all.

They're still like this. No wonder this is as far as they get.

Seong-ho looked them over once — people who had no idea how the world had changed — then turned to Ja-hwang.

"You like golf, I take it?"

"Golf?"

Ja-hwang snorted, glanced around at the VIPs, and answered.

"I'd bet no one here plays better than I do."

"Other than you saying so yourself, do you have any certification?"

"What's that supposed…
