Of course, Ning Chen wasn't going to take Feng Qizheng to the Ministry of Justice.

But he didn't take him back to the prince's residence either.

Ning Chen had no idea how Feng Qizheng had recognized him. Drunk as the man was, he was overjoyed... The moment they were out the door of the Heavenly Blessing Tower, he was shouting for more wine.

The guy was as strong as an ox, and Ning Chen couldn't hold him back.

Far from holding Feng Qizheng back, Ning Chen got dragged into a wine house himself.

He had no choice. He took a private room, ordered a few dishes, and kept Feng Qizheng company while he went on drinking.

At one point, Ning Chen asked curiously, "Old Feng, how did you recognize me?"

He was in disguise and looked like a different man altogether.

Honestly, when he looked in the mirror, he could barely recognize himself.

Feng Qizheng was dead drunk, and yet he'd known him at a glance.

Feng Qizheng shouted happily, "Ning Chen, you came back from the stars! I knew you'd come back, hahaha..."

Ning Chen was utterly speechless. "I'm asking how you recognized me."

"I told the Chief and Old Chen and the rest. I said you'd come back for sure, and none of them believed me, hahaha..."

Ning Chen gave up.

Feng Qizheng was drunk and kept answering questions he hadn't been asked.

He kept raising his cup, again and again.

He really was drunk. Every time Ning Chen asked him something, the answer had nothing to do with the question.

The two of them talked past each other for a long time, like a chicken talking to a duck.

They emptied a whole jar of wine before Feng Qizheng finally gave out and passed out cold.

Even Ning Chen was a little woozy.

He'd meant to take Feng Qizheng back to the prince's residence, but the guy weighed a ton.

All Ning Chen could do was get a room and let him sleep it off at the wine house overnight.

He got Feng Qizheng to the room.
