Shen Cong hauled the sheet-iron box into the Vajra Fortress's modification workshop, and An Sanshun crowded around it at once. The sight of Luo Shouhai in that state had him beside himself.
"BOSS, is this what an iron person looks like evolving into a Colossus?"
"Yes."
"Did you catch him for research?"
"Yes."
Luo Shouhai took in An Sanshun's obvious appetite and yelped, "Boss Hu, you promised me—no inhumane experiments."
Shen Cong nodded. "I know. An Sanshun, observe him, that's all. Small experiments, and nothing that hurts him."
"Understood, understood. Don't worry, BOSS, I'll treat him well." An Sanshun flashed his two gleaming jin-core teeth.
With the research on Luo Shouhai arranged, Shen Cong got ready to go find the milu.

Once Luo Shouhai reached nuclear-grade, the gap between them had only widened.
The moment Shen Cong saw Wu Jun, he sensed it—Wu Jun's Talent wasn't the ultimate-grade he'd expected.
It was only super-grade, somewhere around 3.7H, not quite 3.8H, short of the ultimate-grade line. He held the post of Divine Martial Grand General mostly because Luo Shouhai had propped him up.
"May I ask my lord's surname?" Wu Jun cupped his hands.
Shen Cong answered with a question of his own. "I hear you and Luo Shouhai were close. Staunch allies?"
"Nothing of the sort, nothing of the sort at all, my lord." Wu Jun panicked on the spot. "Luo Shouhai was headstrong and would hear no one. My own strength is slight, so…
